Albany International Corporation is the world's largest supplier of custom engineered industrial textiles with more than 38 plants located around the world including England, Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Holland, France, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Australia.

Albany International also takes pride in fulfilling it's critical role in supplying to U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Space Shuttle Program. Albany International Research Company developed and manufactured jointly with our Technical Fabrics Division, three types of highly-engineered fabrics which cover nearly all of the Shuttle Vehicle. Albany International is also developing High Temperature structural and insulation panels for Aerospace and Aeronautical Applications.

In our fully integrated Textile Plant at Gosford, NSW, the latest textile equipment is operating on a multi-shift basis and is designed with the objective to completely service your requirements.

All phases of manufacture, from the raw staple fibre, through yarn making, weaving, needling, etc., to the final fabrication, are carried out in our Gosford plant under skilled supervision and stringent quality control.

Our product range includes filtration fabrics, speciality belting, papermakers felts, fibrous cement machine felts, paddings and coverings for the laundry and dry cleaning industries, tannery products, "Duraslide" pneumatic conveying media and Nomex high temperature belting.

We have virtually no limitations in regards to fibre, weave or fabric design. Our range includes Polyester, Acrylic, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and high temperature fabrics such as Nomex, Teflon, Polyimide, PPS and Fibreglass. Most of these basic fibres are available in monofilament/ multifilament conventional spun and needled constructions.

Highly trained technical staff, supported by a fully equipped textile laboratory can develop products to the specific needs of clients and keep pace with the new demands of pollution control authorities. The technical facilities are backed by an exchange of information among Albany plants throughout the world and experience dating back to the turn of the century.

Albany supply almost every major end user in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia and have developed and proven filtration media for mining, smelting, refining, iron and steel, foundry, alumina, aluminium, carbon black, cement, limestone, asphalt, clay, motor industries and many others including High Temperature components for Aerospace applications.

Albany International is pleased to confirm that it has in place, world wide, a Total Quality Management Programme we call 'TQA' (Total Quality Assurance). Our system is based on the philosophy and teaching of Dr W Edwards Deming and all major processes are monitored and run charted ensuring our valued customers of the highest quality products from our plants.
